http://cad.uthm.edu.my/    INTRODUCTION The Centre for Academic Development and Training (CAD) was established in June 2007. The centre consists of: 1. Learning and Teaching Department, 2. Academic Programme Development Department, 3. Academic Quality Audit Department, and 4. Training and Data Department. Overall, this centre is responsible for the academic quality of the University. The centre is also responsible for ensuring that the academic programs offered by the University are recognised by the local and/or international qualification bodies. Apart from that, the centre also supports the efforts of strengthening teaching excellence for academic staff to foster creative and innovative culture. This is done by organising training programmes such as courses and seminars that are related to teaching and learning.
