YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd. Noh Dalimin has been appointed as the second Vice-Chancellor of UTHM, effective 16 October 2008.

He is the successor of Prof. Dato' Dr. Haji Ismail bin Haji Bakar, who ended his term as Vice-Chancellor of UTHM on 31 May 2008.

Born a Johorean, YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd. Noh Dalimin, 56, was appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs, Universiti Malaysia Sabah in 1998, before holding the post of Vice-Chancellor of the same University on 18 March 2005. He received his PhD in Solid State Physics from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London.
