BACKGROUND

Centre for Energy and Industrial Environment Studies (CEIES) is established to organize and facilitate research and scientific studies which are related to energy and industrial environments. The center is clustered into four main research groups, each focusing their own area of expertise and facilities and yet sharing common goals, hence intergroup discussions and teamwork can be seen at large within the centers’ community.

CEIES offers excellent resources for scientific research in terms of management, knowledge and technical expertise as well as state-of-the-art facilities. Despite still being new, the center is very active in its research endeavors as manifested by the number of research grants, industrial collaboration projects and exhibition awards it has received thus far.
 
The affiliated research focus groups in CEIES are:

·         Energy Technologies (EnRG)

·         Industrial Environment (IERG)

·         Automotive Powertrain (ARG)

·         Aeronautics Technology and Aviation Management (ATAM)
