INTRODUCTION
The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE) of UTHM was set up on May 1st 2004 after the merging of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering Technology.
DEPARTMENTS:

4. Department of Electronic Engineering (JEL)
5. Department of Mechatronic and Robotic Engineering (JER)
This faculty offers a variety of electrical and electronic engineering academic programmes for students at bachelors and postgraduate levels. At the same time, FKEE is actively involved in research and consultancy activities in the electrical and electronic engineering field.
The uniqueness of the programmes offered by FKEE is that the students are exposed to practical training apart from attending theoretical courses in electrical and electronic engineering.
In addition, FKEE students are nurtured to be dynamic, creative and ethical graduates by instilling soft skills throughout the teaching and learning process. With this advantage, FKEE students will be able to compete and fulfill the requirements of the current job market.

OBJECTIVES
1. To implement professionally accredited academic programmes in electrical and electronic engineering by using a holistic curriculum through a learning process based on experience.
2. To provide services and produce products which fulfill customer needs via quality management systems.
3. To promote the faculty as a well known reference centre through learning, research and consultancy activities in the electrical and electronic engineering field.
4. To practice efficient and effective management systems of human capital, financial and physical facilities.
5. To sustain and strengthen cooperation between the faculty – the industry at national and international level through strategic collaboration.
