The Purpose of the centre is to provide an environment for research on issues that support the next generation of wireless communication system. It will expand the graduate research program in the field of wireless technology.

The centre will provide research program and cross-discipline learning which is aimed at the cellular and wireless communication system needs. The centre will develop a good relationships between universities in order to provide a technology oriented research program.

The centre also focused on strategic planning, collaboration, technology transfer, and production of graduates in all degree level for industrial human resources requirements in international level.

The missions can be elaborated as follows;

to yields a research and conducive multi-discipline learning environment, and identify the opportunity of high impact wireless system
To implement the relevant research effort focused on generating basic knowledge for future commercialization
to transfer knowledge and technology to the commercial sectors
